Botanical Retreat
A bold bathroom with warmth, contrast and character.
This project transformed a tired bathroom into a richer, more contemporary space with a strong sense of personality. Botanical wall finishes, warm wood tones and dark accents were carefully balanced to create a room that feels striking without losing its calm, practical feel.

THE BRIEF
Transform the existing bathroom into a more distinctive, contemporary space with stronger character, improved functionality and a warmer overall feel.
THE WORK INVOLVED
A complete renovation including strip-out, plumbing, electrical work, wall preparation, installation of the new fittings and finishes, and final decoration.
BEHIND THE TRANSFORMATION
Stripped back to create something completely new.
The original bathroom was taken back so the space could be properly prepared for the new design. Services, surfaces and existing fittings were removed or reworked, giving the room the clean foundation needed for the new layout and finishes. This stage allowed the practical changes to be dealt with first, before the stronger botanical details, warm wood tones and darker accents began to bring the finished scheme to life.

The completed bathroom brings together botanical wall finishes, warm wood tones and dark accents in a way that feels confident but still calm and considered. The finished space has far more personality, while the layout and carefully chosen details keep it practical, comfortable and easy to live with.
